Five generations of Reillys have walked these rolling Irish fields, learning to read weather in lichen and patience in stone walls. Summer Seat began as a working dairy steading, evolving slowly into the kitchen garden, cut-flower beds, and heritage orchard it is today.
We never rushed the land. Every terrace, hedge, and herb border was planted with intention, refined over decades until the farm felt less cultivated than remembered.

By The Numbers
A journal, not a brochure
Summer Seat Farm publishes a quarterly journal — field notes, botanical studies, recipes drawn from the larder, and conversations with growers we admire. Print runs are small; the land dictates the press date.
Each issue is set in metal type and bound by hand at the estate workshop, a small ritual we refuse to modernise.
